# Generating an API key on FeatureOS

An API key serves as a critical code for identifying and authenticating applications. These keys are furnished by platforms like a white-labeled internal marketplace. ### Locate your FeatureOS organization's API key

1.  Start by [logging into your FeatureOS organization](https://portal.featureos.app/auth/signin).
    
2.  Navigate to the **Dashboard → Organization Settings** on the left panel → proceed to the **Advanced** section.
    
3.  Within this section, you'll find the API key.
