# Getting a tax refund for your FeatureOS subscription

At FeatureOS, we use Paddle as our subscription management tool and merchant of record. This means that Paddle handles all taxation on our behalf. If you are eligible for a tax exemption and want to receive a tax refund for your FeatureOS subscription, follow the steps below.

#### Steps to get a tax refund for your FeatureOS subscription

-   After subscribing, gather your tax exemption documentation.
    
-   Email the documentation to Paddle’s buyer support team at [assist@paddle.com](mailto:assist@paddle.com).
    
-   Paddle’s buyer support team will review your documentation.
    
-   Once approved, they will issue a tax refund to your account.
    
-   After the refund is processed, you will receive an updated invoice from Paddle without the tax added.
