# Hide vote counts on posts from your customers

_By Swathy · Oct 21, 2024_

Hiding vote counts can be useful if you want your customers to interact on the feedback without bias! Customers can concentrate on the content of feedback without being influenced by how many upvotes or downvotes a request has.

This in-turn allows your team to make an objective decision-making based on the value and context of the request.

#### Getting Started

1. Navigate to your FeatureOS **Dashboard**.

2. Choose **Boards** over the left panel > Choose a specific board (Private / Public).

3. Select a board > Toggle to **Settings**.

4. Scroll to locate the option to **Hide Upvotes** and **Hide Downvotes.**

Note that the option to disable Downvotes will be visible only if you have “Downvotes” enabled for your portal \[Dashboard > Boards > Settings > Board Settings\].
