# How to Vote, Subscribe, and Comment on Posts

## **Why Interact with Posts?**

Interacting with posts helps the team understand which feedback is most important.

-   **Voting**: Increases visibility for popular requests.
    
-   **Subscribing**: Ensures you get notified about updates.
    
-   **Commenting**: Add additional insights or use cases to the discussion.
    

## **How to Vote on a Post?**

1.  Navigate to the **Feedback Board**.
    
2.  Find a post you support.
    
3.  Click the **Vote** button (usually displayed as an upvote icon or "Vote" text).
    
4.  Your vote is counted, and you will be automatically subscribed to updates on that post.
    

**Note:** You can remove your vote by clicking the button again

## **How to Subscribe to a Post?**

If you want to stay updated but don’t want to vote, you can manually subscribe:

1.  Open the post you’re interested in.
    
2.  Click the **"Subscribe"** button.
    
3.  You will receive notifications whenever there’s an update.
    

> **Both subscribing and voting will notify you about updates to a post. The difference is that voting adds your vote to the post, while subscribing simply lets you follow its progress without being counted as a voter.**
> 
> **Voting** = I support or want this feature/bug fixed.
> 
> **Subscribing** = I just want to stay informed about updates.

## **How to Comment on a Post?**

1.  Open the post where you want to leave a comment.
    
2.  Scroll to the **Comments** section.
    
3.  Type your comment in the text box.
    
    -   You can ask a question, provide additional details, or share your experience.
        
4.  Click **"Post Comment"** to submit your response.
    

**Tip:** If you want to mention someone, type `@` followed by their name. They will receive an email notification.
