# Masking user details on FeatureOS

At FeatureOS, safeguarding user privacy is a top priority and with the masking options available on FeatureOS you can control the level of information visibility to align with your organization's needs.

### Mask user details

-   With the Mask User Details enabled, you can conceal user information from public view on our platform's Public Boards.
    
-   This ensures that only Admins and team members can access these details, keeping them hidden from other users.

### Partially mask user details

-   This allows users' information to remain visible to individuals who share the same email domain name.
    
-   By implementing this option, you can ensure that users' names are kept private from each other, except for those who belong to the same email domain.
    
-   User names will continue to be displayed exclusively to admins and team members.
    

### Getting Started

1.  Log in to your FeatureOS organization.
    
2.  From the **Dashboard**, navigate to the **Boards** section located on the left panel.
    
3.  Access the **Settings** tab for all Boards.
    
4.  Within the Privacy section, you'll find the **Mask User Details** and **Partial Mask User Details** options listed.

5.  You can choose to enable either Mask User Details or Partial Mask User Details.
    
    ```
