# Setting default theme for your organization

As the administrator of your organization, you now possess the ability to establish a Default Theme (light/dark) for your FeatureOS portal!

### Setting the default theme

1.  Access your FeatureOS **Dashboard** → click on **Organization Settings** in the left panel.
    
2.  Within the **Basic** tab, locate the option to set the **Default Theme.**
    
3.  Choose your preferred theme from the dropdown menu.
    
4.  For instance, by designating **Dark** as the **Default Theme**, any guest user arriving at your landing page will be greeted with the enigmatic allure of the Dark theme.

### Changing theme in profile settings

Conversely, when a signed-in user has personally chosen the Light mode for their profile theme, just their UI will be switched to Light mode.
