# Supported File Attachments

FeatureOS allows you and your customers to add various file types, including videos, PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, log files, and many more, to your posts, comments, and knowledge base articles.

### Note

Files attached to a post or comment by a customer are only visible to themselves (submitter) and the team members. Other customers will not be able to view these attachments.

### Supported File Types 📎📂

You can now attach the following file types to your posts and comments:

-   **Videos**: Just use the `/` command in the editor or add them as attachments.
    
-   **PDFs**
    
-   **CSVs**
    
-   **Images**: (e.g., JPEG, PNG, GIF)
    
-   **Word Documents**: (e.g., DOC, DOCX)
    
-   **PowerPoint Presentations**: (e.g., PPT, PPTX)
    
-   **Text Files**: (e.g., TXT)
    
-   **Excel Spreadsheets**: (e.g., XLS, XLSX)
    
-   **Other common file types** (please note that uploading folders is not supported).

### How to Attach Files

1.  **Creating a new post** and you can add an attachment in the form.

2.  **Open an existing post** where you want to add an attachment.

3.  **In the comment section,** use the 📎 icon to attach files of your choice.

4.  **To attach a file in the editor**, use the `/` command and select the type of file you want to upload. The
    

The Knowledge Base editor does not support document uploads yet. Image, video, and audio files are supported as of now.

5.  **Alternatively**, click on the attachment icon and select the files you want to include.
