FeatureOS Forms come with built-in security controls to help you protect your surveys from spam, ensure data integrity, and control who can respond. These settings make it easier to run trustworthy forms whether youâre collecting product feedback, customer surveys, or internal team inputs. These options are available under the Settings tab within your form.
đ Passcode Protection
You can restrict access to a form by setting a passcode. Only respondents who know the passcode will be able to open and submit the form. This ensures that sensitive forms stay private and accessible only to the audience youâve chosen.
Itâs especially useful for beta programs, employee-only surveys, or confidential product research.
đ CAPTCHA Verification
Enable CAPTCHA to prevent spam submissions and automated bot entries. Respondents will need to verify they are human before submitting the form. This adds a simple but effective layer of protection, ensuring your dataset is not polluted by fake responses or malicious activity.
For public forms, CAPTCHA is highly recommended.
âł Expiration Date
Each form can have an expiry date, after which it will automatically close and no longer accept new responses. This is useful for running time-bound surveys such as post-launch NPS, limited beta signups, or promotional research.
Useful to keep your data collection window clean and predictable.
đ¤ One Response per User
To prevent duplicate or skewed results, you can limit forms to one submission per user. Once a respondent has completed the form, they wonât be able to submit again. This helps maintain fairness in voting, unbiased survey results, and reliable prioritization feedback.
Itâs particularly useful in use cases like roadmap voting or customer satisfaction scoring.
